A broader robot offer

The MELFA family of Mitsubishi Electric robots is extended with the introduction of the MELFA FR series and the new models of MELFA CH SCARA robots. The FR family is the new concept of advanced robotics, thanks to both the SMART PLUS functionalities that offer performance beyond expectations and the integration in the new iQ-R automation platform, ensuring higher productivity, flexibility and advanced safety for collaborative applications.
The new RH-CH SCARA robots, on the other hand, are designed for pick & place, assembly and conveyor tracking applications with a “cost effective” solution. The new models feature a payload of 3 kg and 6 kg, with a maximum reach of 400 mm and 600/700 mm.

As for collaborative robotics, the news comes from the launch of the MELFA MELCoR model. The characteristics of the new Mitsubishi Electric collaborative robot are similar to those of the industrial robot range, with a repeatability of ±0.02 mm, despite the inclusion of sensitive force/torque sensors, a payload of 5 kg and a reach of about 900 mm.
