The fifth edition of the ISCP Conference
On June 14th, the fifth edition of the ISCP Conference took place. ISCP, the Italian-Serbian collaboration platform, was founded in December 2013 on the initiative of AIdAM, in order to make economic and cultural relations between the two countries easier and more regular. After many years in Belgrade, the event was hosted this year by the city of Novi Sad, capital of culture to be in 2021 and major city of Vojvodina, the most important industrial region of the country. A choice which also provided a chance to widen the ISCP alliance to the University of Novi Sad.
After Italian Ambassador Carlo Lo Cascio’s greetings, the opening remarks were delivered by Michele Merola, President of the Platform. Looking back to the goals already achieved, he emphasized the role of Italy, as the major commercial partner for Serbia, while wishing for the cooperation between the two countries to become stronger over the years.
As usual, several relevant speakers both from the academic and business communities took the floor, analysing the results of Industry 4.0 as well as the goals for the upcoming years.
Asolmec, Camozzi, Cosberg, Gimatic, K.L.AI.N.robotics and TMP, six AIdAM member companies which already confirmed their interest in the Serbian market, were also present.
