Controlling and tracing the tightening process
Dalmar introduces at MecSpe the MD Series by Doga and the whole range of electronically controlled torque/angle tightening systems for industrial assembly.
Full control and traceability of the operation carried out, production automation and remote interconnection with the company’s management system are just some of the strengths of the MD Series, a truly Industry 4.0 system.
The MD series consists of a line of power tools from 0.01 to 49 Nm and the MDC control unit with free PC software for real-time programming and control. Brushless technology features this range of straight, pistol and angle screwdrivers, ensuring high reliability and low maintenance costs. All this is joined by a repeatability of the tightening torque (+/-3%) thanks to the innovative shut-off management.
Moreover, the MDC control unit features up to 99 clamping programs and two multisequence programs. Some additional characteristics are: customized clamping strategies; automatic identification of the screwdriver when the control unit is turned on; display of the type of error; statistical analysis of the results on PC software; 8+8 I/Os for connection to a PLC; self-learning mode; intuitive graphic interface; colour LCD touch display.
The MD series by Doga can be integrated into any industrial sector, from electronics to automotive, up to aerospace and household appliances. At Mecspe 2019 it will be possible to test the system in action and experience an actual smart factory. A demo area, set up at the Dalmar booth, will host the TorqBee series by
HS-TECHNIK, the Acradyne System by Aimco and the battery-powered air-hydraulic screwdrivers.
