“Know-how 4.it” at SPS Italia
This year’s edition of, AIdAM has confirmed its presence at SPS Italia, the important trade fair dedicated to automation scheduled in Parma and organized by Messe Frankfurt Italia, from May 22nd to 24th. This year, however, the Association has promoted a brand new initiative, immediately welcomed and implemented by the organizers. In Hall 7, in fact, a space called “Know-how 4.it: from know-how to machine learning” and dedicated to Made-in-Italy complex mechatronic solutions will be created. The ultimate goal of the initiative is to highlight the technological integration solutions implemented by the Italian assembly machines manufacturers. This fits perfectly in the philosophy which the Association has always been promoting, that is to support the knowledge pervasiveness, as it is quite important to know something before using it. By showing some industrial automation solutions in their traditional uses as well as in the most innovative ones, the aim is therefore to put on display processes and fields of application often hard to imagine. And what better than the Made-in-Italy, or rather the Italian companies that have become industry leaders relying on their ability to provide specific solutions to complex issues, could possibly represent the 4.0 creativity? ABL, Automac, Cosberg, iMAGE S and Vision are the five member companies ready to make available their experience in terms of mechatronic solutions with the aim to show the concrete integration between automation, motion control, machine vision systems, advanced simulation, analytics and big data. Because the real 4.0 is not just about technology, but also about knowledge, skills and processes.
