Plenty of robots at BI-MU

Fanuc will be exhibiting at BI-MU, scheduled in Milan from 9 to 13 October, with some interesting new products. The SR-6iA SCARA robot can handle up to 6 kg in weight and is featured by an extremely simple programming via a Web browser. Designed for fast and highly reliable handling needs, the robot has 6 kg payload capacity, 650 mm horizontal stroke, 210 mm vertical stroke and the following repeatability: ±0.01 (J1, J2, J3); ±0.004 (J4). High moments of inertia optimize flexibility when quite heavy materials need to be handled. The iRProgrammer software allows users to program the robot directly via a Web interface (for example, Chrome or Safari) from PC or tablet: a further step towards a positive user experience focused on human beings.
