Reading codes is getting easier

Leuze presents the new DCR 200i (Dual-Code-Reader), an easy-to-use code reader with high reading performance: thanks to the powerful LED illumination, good results are possible even with high speeds, different materials and damaged codes.

The continuous traceability of products from production to the consumer is becoming increasingly important. Whether it’s the handling of food allergens, the control of packaging in the pharmaceutical industry or shipping labels in the packaging industry, or even quality control for products in the electrical and electronics industry, the fast and secure identification of 1D and 2D codes is indispensable.

The new DCR 200i (Dual-Code-Reader) from Leuze combines great ease of use with high reading performance, even with difficult reading tasks, and assists users during identification to ensure that the label has been printed with the product, barcode and/or Data Matrix codes; track and trace for traceability of packaged products during production.

Good reading result with damaged codes

An integrated WebConfig wizard guides the user quickly and safely through setup and simplifies commissioning. For simple applications, the DCR 200i can be set up for the reading task even without a PC using the two buttons on the device, thanks to a smartphone app. 

Thanks to its modular design, the DCR 200i adapts in its range of functions and performance exactly to the requirements of your application.

Thanks to replaceable polarisation filters and diffuser films, interference reflections can be reduced. The high reading performance and the powerful LED illumination enable a good reading result, even with high object speeds, different carrier materials and partially damaged codes.
