Solutions for machine vision

On the occasion of SPS Italia, iMAGE S introduces the latest novelties in its range of products and solutions for machine vision. The new HALCON 17.12 release from MVTec Software offers a complete set of advanced “Deep Learning” features immediately applicable in industrial environments. This technology allows users to classify image data easily and accurately, reducing programming requirements and saving time and money. RETINA is a software for objects classification based on artificial intelligence and developed by SqueezeBrains, an Italian company with which iMAGE S has recently started a collaboration. The two new Gocator 2430 and Gocator 2440 intelligent sensor models from LMI Technologies, equipped with the most advanced optical technologies, meet the requirements of high-speed and high-sensitivity 3D acquisition within applications in the tyre industry. Teledyne DALSA’s GigE Vision® Genie Nano cameras, easy to use and with a high performance/price ratio, join the most advanced CMOS sensors, including Pregius from Sony and Python from On Semiconductor and above all Saphire sensors, Emedy and Lince from Teledyne e2V, to a camera optimized for high speeds integrated with extensive control functionalities in a compact and robust case. Finally, iMAGE S also offers the Line Scan Bar family from Mitsubishi Electric, based on CIS (Contact Image Sensor) technology, which provides an ideal solution for the inspection of surfaces and moving flat objects. With a proprietary CMOS colour sensor and integrated lighting with white LED light, it is possible to scan materials in a web with 600 dpi resolution.
