Training path for teachers
The 2019 SPS edition is just around the corner. For the third year in a row AIdAM confirms its participation, by bringing to the fair some brand new proposals. In a spanking new configuration, 13 AIdAM member companies – ABB, Automator, Cosberg, iMAGE S, K.L.A.IN.robotics, Robotunits, Sinta, Vision, Automac, Camozzi, Festo, SMC and Balluff – will get together in Hall 4.1, which is entirely devoted to innovations in robotics and mechatronics. One of the main innovations will be the inauguration of a training course for teachers of technical institutes. This training course is the result of a cooperation among SPS, Didacta and the Italian Ministry of Education.
The project, consisting of two modules which will take place at SPS (28th-30th May) and Didacta (9th-11th October), is based on classes given by experts of mechatronics chosen by the companies participating in this initiative. The project is the first concrete and well-structured action carried out to meet the need for properly trained human resources voiced by companies operating in the field. In fact, not only do they need resources capable of using the latest devices, but they also need them to be well aware of corporate needs and culture.
The primary goal of this initiative is, therefore, to give teachers a chance to update their know-how and become a real connection between the world of education and the professional market. A certificate of attendance, useful to gain training credits, will be issued for all teachers willing to take part into this project by taking classes both at SPS and Didacta.
