A platform for total integration

EcoStruxure™ is the interoperable platform and open architecture enabled by Schneider Electric’s IIoT. Used on over 480,000 sites, supported by over 20,000 system integrators and developers, it connects over 1,600,000 assets, managed by means of 40 digital service providers.By exploiting the technological evolution of IioT, mobility, sensor applications, cloud, analytics and cybersecurity, EcoStruxure allows to combine connected products, local control, apps, analytics and services in four market segments: the building industry, data centers, the manufacturing industry and infrastructures. All of this was showcased during the SPS Italia trade show in May, in an exhibition space structured like an outdoor factory, which reproduced with different interconnected production areas the entire production process of biscuits. The common element was the integration of smart and connected components on the EcoStruxure platform, in its various aspects linked to machine and process automation and to the integrated management of production and energy systems. What keeps the entire system together is the use of application systems, software and services which allow to convert data into key information to optimize the functionality of the assets and of the entire plant.
