The Appointment in Milan is Ready to Start
After the customary appointment in Verona, SAVE will be back in Milan in April with a program rich in congresses, workshops and solutions on show. Visitors will therefore be able to have a complete overview on the instrument and automation sectors

The new edition of SAVE Milan will be held on April 18th; the vertical event is dedicated to instrument, automation and sensor solutions and applications. The show will be taking place after the successful conclusion in October of the two-day event in Verona, attended in 2018 by over 7,400 specialized operators. For many years SAVE has been a valid moment of professional updating for trade operators, with direct debates open to experts, companies, organizations and institutions. The aim is providing visitors with an all-round overview on technologies and solutions in the instrument and automation field, as well as a meeting point to start off new businesses.
From smart instruments through big data to vision systems
SAVE Milan will develop around many themes: from smart instruments to big data, from sensors to plant monitoring and control, from asset management to vision systems, including energy efficiency, data collection and analysis and much more. Within this framework it will be therefore possible to understand which are the challenges and opportunities to keep as reference points to innovate and remain competitive on the different industrial markets, even from an Industry 4.0 standpoint.
The day’s formula developed over time, based on the demands of companies and operators, and it envisages a series of congresses on current hot topics in the morning, a showcase part with the industry’s players and an afternoon session with technical and application workshops and training courses provided by participating companies.
To optimize synergies and opportunities, SAVE is also held at the same time as MCM Milan, an event which specializes in industrial maintenance, and as mcT Food / Vision and Traceability, an event dedicated to the Food & Beverage sector and the relevant logistics and industrial traceability.
A program rich in events
The appointment in Milan is organized by EIOM and may count on support and cooperation by associations and institutions, among them G.I.S.I., PLC Forum (the Italian online association for the promotion of automation) and ANIPLA (National Association for Automation) which takes care of the scientific aspects. The program will be advertised on the event’s website, and interested operators may even register in advance to attend the event free of charge, take part in congresses and workshop and enjoy all services offered by sponsors such as, for instance, a participation certificate, any documents available to download as PDFs after the events and more. SAVE Milan is the anticipation of the Autumn edition of SAVE Congress Show scheduled for October 23rd and 24th at Veronafiere. l
