The international water exhibition dedicated to water technologies and treatments, distribution and sustainability, H2O, this year will be held from the 17th to the 19th October at BolognaFiere. The event is recognised by the operators from the sector as a very important opportunity for business and networking and a venue where participants can exhibit and discover the most innovative technological solutions and the best services designed for the water sector. “Water is our world – Raising awareness of the value of water” is the connecting theme for the event, where the concept of the value of water flows transversally through diverse sectors, from civil requirements and uses to those of industry, focussing on the best national and international solutions.
Urban, Industry and CH4 are three themed pathways
H2O, proposes three themed pathways in which exhibitors can find their ideal position whether their business is oriented more to the public sector or to industry. The Urban pathway is dedicated to the world of water services and technologies for managing water resources; the Industry pathway is for suppliers and producers of technologies, treatment systems, equipment and services relating to the management of water in the industrial sector. Slightly different but still related is the pathway CH4 dedicated to technologies and systems for the transportation and distribution of gas, a sector that is acknowledged to have significant potential for development.
Five focus areas to find a meeting place between demand and supply
H2O 2018 will develop across five focus areas: Innovation, Internationalization, Digital Water, Industry and Maintenance in order to create in-depth areas in which exhibitors and visitors can find a meeting place between the demand for know-how and the supply of technology. Innovation is a key feature this year in order to focus attention on the new technologies that are fundamental to the development of the water network and management systems for industrial water.
This year the event will provide further opportunities for Internationalisation with specific networking possibilities for exhibitors who will be able to meet and hold discussions with foreign experts, designers, companies and utilities.
From the perspective of Industry 4.0 and in order to meet the growing demand for digitalisation, H2O has created the initiative Digital Water to shine a spotlight on the technologies for digitalisation, the key element for the development of both the water and gas sectors. With Industry the event dedicates a space for exchanging experience and best practices linked to the world of consumption and treatment of industrial water.
An opportunity to present the most innovative solutions connected to the management of water resources in all of the sectors that involve processes in which large volumes of water are used, such as the chemical, energy, food and paper industries. A theme that cannot be forgotten is the focus on Maintenance; companies, experts and management companies will have the opportunity to present the best technologies for the maintenance and redevelopment of the water networks. In conclusion, next autumn, H2O is an event not to be missed; it is organised by BolognaFiere with the support of the Ministry of the Environment, the Emilia-Romagna Regional Administration and Enea.
