An Educational Division to support training

With the aim of supporting the evolution of didactics, SMC Italia took part in the second edition of Fiera Didacta Italia, the event supported by MIUR and focused on school innovation. SMC International Training, the educational division of the Italian branch of SMC, provides equipment, training courses to talk about innovation, teaching and education, supporting schools and teachers in the development of skills related to applied technologies.
“The world of work has changed and new multidisciplinary skills are needed”, underlined Sara Colloi, Technical Training Manager of SMC Italia. “As SMC Italia, are think that it is necessary to start from schools; we aim to bring the company into the school through equipment made with real components that are normally used in industrial processes. Our goal is to help develop the necessary skills in industrial automation, the Smart Factory and Industry 4.0. Our equipment is multidisciplinary and can be used within several training paths”.
Thanks to its broad offer, SMC Italia is able to bring innovation and technology to schools with the support of CampuStore, a company working in the educational field. The two companies, in fact, have signed an agreement to provide high-quality training offer, capable of involving students and enhancing their skills.
