Ballscrew-driven spindle axes

Hiwin’s HM-S series ballscrew-driven spindle axes are stable and long-lasting and can achieve an extremely high degree of precision and load-bearing capacity. Thanks to in-house manufacturing, components such as linear guideways and ballscrew shafts are fine-tuned to each other. The result is impressive: the HM-S spindle axes operate with low friction and in a consistently accurate position, even with a load of 120 kg. Additional spindle supports prevent the spindles from vibrating, and make fast travel speeds with a long stroke possible. A steel cover strip that prevents dirt from penetrating provides a long service life and less maintenance. The appearance also sets standards: the HM-S spindle axes have already won the prestigious IF Design Award.
In order to make procurement and installation of the axes as convenient as possible for the user, Hiwin provides optional limit switch and motor adapter variants.
