Compact level indicators

The IEG-TQ07MM-18X1,5 level indicators, from F.lli Giacomello, feature small overall dimensions.
Designed to guarantee maximum and minimum levels of liquids in tanks with maximum safety, hydraulic power units containing mineral oils with a viscosity not higher than 80°E and for all non-corrosive and flammable liquids, can be created according to customer specifications. Moreover, their small size allows to occupy a small space inside the tank.
The operating principle is the following. When the indicator float in its travel meets the built-in Reed switch at the pre-set point, the contact, solicited by the magnet housed in the float, opens or closes, sending a luminous, acoustic call signal at a distance or either activating or interrupting any electrical equipment connected to it.
The indicator must be installed in a vertical position, with the warning that the float is far from the ferrous surfaces (walls, tanks, etc.) at least 35 mm. The flange seal is guaranteed by a flat seal in
oil-resistant synthetic rubber and a clamping nut.
Since the diameter of the float is greater than the diameter of the passage hole on the tank, during installation the float must be removed to reposition it once the level indicator has been fixed to the tank.
