ANIE Automazione published: the Italian Automation Industry Observatory and the updates to the RFID and Wireless Guidelines.
The new Observatory of the Italian Automation Industry was introduced by Fabrizio Scovenna, President of ANIE Automazione, during the event “Innovative industrial automation by vocation: the challenges of the future for man and technology” held last May 22 at SPS IPC Drives Italia.
The volume contains the testimonies of the main players in the automation world on the market performance of the sector, training 4.0 and initiatives to implement the digitalization of the country. The document, drawn up by ANIE Automazione and available in digital format, also includes a large insert with industry data tracing a picture of the market trends from 2017 to the first months of the current year and forecasts on 2018.
This year the Focus of the report is on the Training 4.0. The fourth digital revolution is introducing radical transformations into the labor market and requires virtuous training courses to create adequate skills in order to prevent any brakes to implement them, especially for SMEs. Today the demand for work is turning at great speed and the required skills are increasingly complex. Hence the need to spread at all levels a more open and competent culture in digital and scientific knowledge, to strengthen specialized and technical training, and to strengthen soft skills (creativity, managerial skills, ability to solve problems in technologically complex environments). The objective that arises, also with the tools made available by the Industry 4.0 Plan, is to maximize the new job opportunities related to the fourth industrial revolution developing new digital skills. During the Parma fair, ANIE Automazione also announced the new editions of the RFID and Wireless guidelines. The third edition of the “Guidelines for RFID technology” aims to provide with an updated overview of the state of the art of radio frequency identification technology, with particular regard to industrial automation applications. The book is organized into two sections: a purely technological one and the other focused on the presentation of application cases. The reader who approaches the RFId technology can find in the Guide useful indications to quickly learn the fundamental principles and its possible applications for the management of production and the supply chain. The “Guide for Wireless Technology” describes the state of the art of Wireless technology in industrial automation applications, with particular reference to the most used solutions, human-machine safety, legislation that rule the sector. Also in this case the publication is organized in two sections: one purely technological and the other dedicated to the testimonies of the main suppliers of Wireless technology in the industrial field, which, through practical cases, help to better understand the benefits that can lead to the choice and implementation of non-wired communication solutions.
